Services

Buy, sell, recondition, ship, recycle — one loop, one partner.

Most vendors do one slice of the tote lifecycle. We do the whole circle, which means fewer middlemen, fewer empty miles, and a tank that never falls out of the loop.

The short answer

We buy your empty totes, sell you reconditioned or new ones, recondition tanks to a documented grade, transport them across the Midwest, and recover materials at true end of life. Reuse comes first; recycling is the last resort.

Buy, sell, recondition, transport and recycle — one partner for the whole loop
The full lifecycle

What we actually do with every tote that passes through our yard.

Most suppliers pick one lane. We run the whole track — which means we make better decisions at every fork, because we know exactly where a tote is headed next.

01

Source

We buy used IBCs from facilities across Illinois and the Midwest — farms, manufacturers, food processors, chemical distributors. Every incoming tank is photographed, logged and assessed before anything else happens.

02

Grade

Incoming totes are sorted by prior contents and condition into grade categories: industrial rinsed, food-grade capable, rebottle candidate and end-of-life. Grade determines every downstream decision.

03

Recondition

Tanks routed for reuse go through hot-water triple-wash or a fresh-bottle rebottle, interior inspection, pressure and leak testing, and a traceable grade tag. No tank leaves this stage undocumented.

04

Sell

Finished, graded tanks go out to customers by the unit or the truckload. Prior-contents history, grade documentation and a pressure-test record travel with every sale.

05

Transport

Our own trucks move loads across the Midwest — batching deliveries and empty pickups onto shared routes so no mile runs empty when it doesn’t have to.

06

Recover

When a tote truly can’t be reused, we split it into clean material streams: HDPE regrind, steel to metal recovery, pallets repaired or chipped. Zero goes to landfill.

How it works

Step by step for each service.

Buying

Match to a grade, delivered.

  1. Tell us what you’re storing and how much you move.
  2. We pull tanks whose prior contents and condition fit your use.
  3. Quote by email within one business day — unit cost, grade, delivered price.
  4. Pick up at our Peoria yard or we freight it anywhere in the Midwest.

We almost always recommend the reconditioned option — it costs less and carries lower Scope 3 emissions.

Selling

Photos in, cash and a clear yard out.

  1. Snap photos of each tote: overall view, label, valve condition.
  2. Send photos and prior-contents info through the form below.
  3. We quote the lot by reusability, prior contents and quantity.
  4. We schedule pickup on our existing Midwest routes — your yard is clear.

Reconditionable tanks earn more cash. Anything that can’t be reused goes to responsible material recovery — never your problem to dispose of.

Reconditioning

Triple-wash or rebottle, tested and tagged.

  1. Incoming tanks are logged by prior contents and quarantined by grade.
  2. Process path decided: triple-wash to standard, or rebottle with fresh HDPE.
  3. Post-wash: full interior and exterior inspection.
  4. Pressure and leak test on every unit. Fail = rework, never ship.
  5. Traceable grade tag applied. Documentation ready for your auditors.

We reuse the steel cage and pallet — the two most carbon-intensive parts — on every reconditioned tank, regardless of process path.

Transport

Shared routes. Fewer empty miles.

  1. Tell us origin, destination, quantity and whether you have empties to backhaul.
  2. We slot your stop into the most efficient shared route.
  3. Totes are loaded cage-to-cage, strapped to DOT cargo-securement standards.
  4. Pickup and delivery confirmation lands in your inbox — simple paper trail.

Backhauling empties on the same run that delivers full totes cuts your freight cost and eliminates a return trip’s worth of emissions.

Recycling

Last resort. Every material recovered.

  1. Every incoming "end-of-life" tank is assessed for reconditioning or rebottle first.
  2. Only genuinely exhausted tanks enter the recovery stream.
  3. Bottle, cage and pallet are separated into clean material streams.
  4. HDPE reground, steel to metal recovery, pallets repaired or chipped.
  5. You receive a material recovery record by weight for sustainability reporting.

We say recycling is the last resort because it is. But when it’s time, zero goes to landfill.

Why the full loop matters

Fewer decisions. Fewer vendors. Fewer empty miles.

When one partner handles buying, reconditioning, transport and end-of-life recovery, the tote never falls out of the loop. Empties don’t stack up. Trucks don’t run empty. Materials don’t go to landfill by default.

We built the infrastructure to close that loop — yard, wash line, trucks, Midwest routes — so you don’t have to stitch together four separate vendors to accomplish what one call (or one email) to us gets done.

Pricing

How we price — no mystery, no phone-first games.

Email first, always

We quote by email within one business day. Every quote includes grade, quantity, delivered price and lead time. No vague estimates, no "call for pricing."

Volume pricing

Per-unit cost falls at pallet quantities and again at full truckloads of forty. Buying or selling in bulk earns the best rate; we’ll show you the breakdown.

Route-optimized logistics

Delivery pricing is based on where you fall on our existing Midwest routes. Combining a delivery with an empty backhaul on the same trip improves the economics significantly.

Grade-based grading

Reconditioned tanks are priced by grade: rinsed industrial, food-grade washed, rebottled and new. You pay for the grade you need — not the grade above it.

No hidden disposal fees

When you sell us a mixed lot, we quote it all — reusable and end-of-life tanks together. No surprise invoices for recycling or disposal after pickup.

The short version: Email us your specs, receive a real price within one business day. Volume and route efficiency improve that price. We never make you call to find out.
Documentation

The paperwork your auditors, buyers and sustainability team actually need.

Every transaction generates documents. Here’s what travels with a tote — or lands in your inbox — depending on what you’re doing with us.

Grade tag

Physical tag on every reconditioned tank: date, inspector ID, process path (washed or rebottled) and grade achieved. Travels with the tank forever.

Prior-contents disclosure

Written record of what the tank held before you received it. Required for product compatibility verification and chemical-storage compliance.

Pressure-test record

Every assembled unit passes a pressure and leak test before shipment. Test result documented and available on request.

Bill of lading

Issued for every freight shipment — origin, destination, tote count, product contents (if loaded) and securement confirmation.

Material recovery record

For end-of-life recycling: weight-based breakdown by material stream (HDPE, steel, wood). Use it in your GRI, CDP or Scope 3 disclosure.

Recycling certificate

Written confirmation that recovered materials were not landfilled, suitable for supplier questionnaires and ESG audits.

Industries

How we work

Email-first. One business day. No phone tag.

Every request is tracked

An email thread is a record. Phone calls vanish; email quotes are searchable, forwarded to your purchasing team and always retrievable.

No hold times or voicemail

Email us, get a thorough response within one business day. Your specifications are right there — quantity, grade, product — no re-explaining to a different person each call.

Better answers, faster

A written request gets a written quote: unit price, grade, delivered cost, lead time. A phone call gets "let me check and call you back."

Audit trail for procurement

Most procurement teams need a written quote anyway. We skip the middle step and give you the document directly.

Service FAQs

Do I have to use every service?
Not at all — take what you need. Many customers just buy, or just sell; others use us for the full loop from purchase through reconditioning, transport and end-of-life recovery.
What area do you cover?
Illinois and the greater Midwest from our Peoria yard, with local pickup and freight for single totes up to full truckloads.
How quickly do you respond?
We quote by email within one business day. We work email-first so every request is tracked and answered thoroughly.
Can you both deliver and pick up empties?
Yes. Reverse logistics is central to how we work — we collect empties on the same routes that deliver full totes, cutting cost and emissions.
What sizes do you handle?
Primarily 275-gallon and 330-gallon intermediate bulk containers. Both sizes are available in multiple grades depending on current inventory.
Do you work with small businesses or just large industrial accounts?
Both. We sell single totes and buy small lots. Volume pricing rewards larger orders, but there’s no minimum that shuts the door on smaller operations.
What grades of totes do you sell?
Rinsed industrial, food-grade washed, rebottled (new HDPE bottle in reclaimed cage) and new — documented by grade tag. We’ll match you to the right grade for your product.
How does reconditioning compare to buying new?
A reconditioned tank costs less and carries lower Scope 3 packaging emissions. The steel cage and pallet — the heaviest components — are reused. You get documented proof of prior contents and grade instead of an anonymous new tank.
Do you provide recycling documentation for sustainability reporting?
Yes. End-of-life recovery generates a material-by-weight record (HDPE, steel, wood) that feeds directly into GRI 306, CDP and Scope 3 accounting.
Can you handle a truckload of mixed grades and conditions?
Yes. Mixed lots are common — we assess each tank individually at intake and route it to the right process path. No pre-sorting on your end required.
What payment methods do you accept?
Include your payment preference in the quote request and we’ll confirm in the return email. Standard commercial terms are available for established accounts.
Is there a contract required?
No long-term contract is required for one-off transactions. Recurring delivery or pickup routes can be set up under a simple services agreement if you prefer predictability.
